Jacques Franssen founded a company in bicycles in Tegelen in 1884. The company later moved to Venlo and in 1913 his sons also worked within the company.
Cyrus started as a family business in Venlo and produced for both the Dutch and international markets. Bicycles, mopeds and light motorcycles were produced within the company. Cyrus, Excellent and Valuas bicycles were produced. Cyrus released a prototype motorized bicycle in 1921. In the 1930s, Cyrus also began producing light motorcycles and bicycles with an auxiliary motor. In 1955, scooters were produced made with Sachs engines but mopeds equipped with Victoria engines also entered the market. The engines for mopeds, were replaced by engines from Zündapp and Sachs. In 1961 Cyrus decided to enter into cooperation with Empo from Vorden. In this way, a larger market share was created in the North of the country.
The models with the 50- 80- and 100 cc engines, were mostly exported to the United States, Canada and Syria.
In 1970 Empo went bankrupt, this also meant the end for Cyrus and in 1971 the doors closed.

You will hardly find any parts that are directly for the vehicle.
But these were mostly common parts that the manufacturers used... so many parts were also installed in other mopeds.
May be from Zündapp or Kreidler , Hercules or Kreidler
for example... looks similiar https://www.racing-planet.de/sitzbank-s ... e89fe91889

These sachs engines were installed all over the world, you can still find new reproduction parts
